to Every Industry in the Philippines
The story of SMPC begins in 1956, when the Sunshine Hardware store opened its doors on Raja Matanda Street in Tondo, Manila. In those early decades, the business supplied construction materials, tools, and hardware to the bustling trading and port community surrounding Manila Bay — building a reputation for fair dealing and dependable supply that would outlast generations.
In 1986, recognizing the growing industrial demand across the Philippines, the family business expanded its vision and reincorporated as Sunshine Multi Plus Corporation. The pivot into pumps, fire protection systems, and industrial fluid equipment opened doors to an entirely new world of clients — factories, municipalities, hospitals, real estate developers, and government infrastructure projects.
Today, SMPC is the exclusive or preferred Philippine distributor for world-class brands including Calpeda, Pentair Aurora, ShinMaywa, Danfoss, TECO, Franklin Electric, and more — all backed by our in-house engineering team for system design, commissioning, and after-sales support across 26 distinct industries.

Sunshine Hardware Founded
Opened at 644 Raja Matanda St., Tondo, Manila — supplying construction materials, tools, and hardware to the port and trading community of Manila. A family business built on honest dealing and reliable supply.
1986
Became Sunshine Multi Plus Corporation
Reincorporated and expanded into industrial pumps, fire suppression systems, and fluid handling equipment — pivoting from hardware retail to full industrial equipment supply for Philippine industry.
2000s
Brand Partnerships & System Design
Formal distribution agreements signed with Calpeda (Italy), ShinMaywa (Japan), Pentair Aurora (USA), and Danfoss (Denmark). Expanded from pure supply into full engineered pump system packages.
2010s
National Expansion
Grew to serve clients nationwide — Laguna, Cavite, Cebu, Davao, and major industrial zones across the Philippines. VFD energy-efficiency solutions and SCADA-ready systems added.
